The ultimate purpose of the human form is to devotion to God and humanitarian welfare. In the memory of the martyrs of Pulwama, Followers commemorated Maharehmokarm Day, in Sirsa Ashram on 28th Feb, with a Blood Donation Campaign. Dera Sacha Sauda has always performed humanitarian welfare in the holy month of Maharehmokaram the coronation month of 2nd Master Shah Satnam Ji.

1839 Units of Blood Donated in Memory of Pulwama Martyrs in Sirsa Ashram

To pay homage to the CRPF Jawans who were martyred in Pulwama attack, a blood donation camp was organized at Dera Sacha Sauda Sirsa following the guidance of Baba Ram Rahim Ji. The teams of blood banks from various parts of the country arrived to collect Blood. People from near and far off places visited the Ashram to donate their precious Blood and pay homage the heroes. In addition to this, a general medical camp, the Jan Kalyan Parmarthi medical checkup camp was conducted where specialist Doctors offered their services and screened patients for different ailments and provided a free consultation. This medical Camp is conducted on the last Sunday of every month at DSS Sirsa, to help people to be able to diagnose and get medical treatment on time. This diagnosis and treatment are not possible for many, who are faced with financial constraints.

In this series of welfare, distribution of groceries to 10 needy families, toys to 10 small children of economically weaker families, and reading books (copies-books) too were distributed. In addition to this, Tri-Cycles were given to six differently abled, as part of Naamcharcha program at Sirsa Ashram of Dera Sacha Sauda. Prasad was distributed to the Devotees. It is worth mentioning that on February 28, 1960, the Holy Father Shah Satnam Singh Ji Maharaj, of Dera Sacha Sauda, was coronated as the chief of Dera Sacha Sauda.

Apart from this, a total of 11,847 blood units were collected in Blood Donation camps organized across the Country on 27th Feb 2019, to pay homage to the soldiers who were martyred in Pulwama. The followers’ enthusiasm for donating Blood was outstanding, huge queues were adorning every donation site. Most locations fell short of the infrastructure, Blood bags etc, to collect Blood, and as a result, a considerable number of followers had to be sent back without taking their Blood. How ironic is this? A nation where, getting 20 units of Blood is a challenge at a time, here we have followers who were more than 150 and even reached 350 - 500 at particular places. These followers too, are working people with families and other responsibilities, but their love for the nation and humanity outwits everything else. And this is all possible due to the teachings of Baba Ram Rahim Ji.
