Inspired by Saint Dr. Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan, millions of Dera Sacha Sauda volunteers have pledged to help in building homes for the poor and needy. Till date, hundreds of such homes have been built in various blocks by Dera volunteers.

In India, owning a home is an expensive affair. A large number of homeless people use footpaths, streets or bus stands to sleep at night. The Dera Volunteers have come to their aid and come up with cost-effective methods to them build basic. 

Food, clothes, and roof on the head are the basic necessities of any human being & building a house for oneself is the toughest one to achieve. To help the poor, Dera volunteers in various blocks join hands to build homes for them. 

To aid with house building or house repair for the needy people, the Dera Volunteers pool in their resources, provide financial help & work together to build homes. Their selfless efforts are helping the poor live a better life. 

'Homely Shelter' is an initiative started by Saint Dr. Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan, under which homes are built for poor people to help them have a roof over their heads. Dera volunteers across the country have helped with thousands of homes for the poor, shelterless and for widows to help them.
